Summary This volume is the proceeding of "Women's Legacies in Natural Studies, Health, and Liberal Arts" the second edition of AIWAC, held in Rome in 2022. The past decade has seen a considerable amount of research centered on the legacy of women as patrons of the arts, artists, writers, philosophers. The book focuses on the correlation between women and naturalism from ancient times to contemporaneity, and explores the topic more thoroughly in the context of Natural Studies, seen as a subject of investigation in multiple disciplines. In presenting these essays, this work continues the mission of AIWAC: to build an interdisciplinary and international community dedicated to rewriting cultural history in ways that fully acknowledge the significant role of women. The work begun here points toward future research, future dialogues, and future conferences in which the legacies of women in the arts will continue to be made visible, valued, and celebrated.
